Nan Tien Temple, Australia

The Nan Tien Temple is a large Buddhist temple and monastery complex located in Wollongong, NSW. It is a short 10 minute drive from our home. On the 2nd January, 2005, my wife, Shao Ping and three of her friends visited the temple. I took photographs while were there. It is a beautiful temple. It was officially opened in October 1995. The temple is still "new" and does not possess the "ancient" qualities of the temples we visited in Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and even Singapore. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere.
