Music

I have been interested in music from a very young age. Being from a family with seven children there was always a diversity of music playing in the household. The musical tastes varied from the Beatles through to the Velvet Underground. I have created a few pages focused upon music and they are described below. Each of the following pages will open in a new window.
David Bowie ~ Live in Sydney, November 1978.

A gallery of photographs taken during David Bowie's performance at the Sydney Showgrounds, 24~25 Nov, 1978.
David Bowie ~ Station To Station Full Colour Artwork

David Bowie ~ The Man Who Sold The World

The famous 'dress sleeve' for this release on the Mercury record label has been counterfeited a few times. See the photographs.
The Amazing Kornyphone Record Label

The Amazing Kornyphone Record Label. Vinyl history. When rare recordings were exactly that... rare.
Sandii & The Sunsetz ~ an Australian perspective

This Japanese band had some success during the 1980s. I had the good fortune to meet them a couple of times.

At any given time in our home one could possibly hear music by the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Savoy Brown, Pink Floyd, Devo, Blondie, Deep Purple, Richard Betts, Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, The Band, Neil Young, Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, The Animals, The Beach Boys, Radio Birdman, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Iggy & The Stooges, Melanie, Bob Dylan, The Bay City Rollers, Donovan, The Hollies, Supertramp, Neil Diamond, The Byrds and so on.

It used to drive my dad mad. My father only liked one song.... Picking up Pebbles by Matt Flinders.
