Outram Park HDB Blocks

There was a collection of rainbow coloured Housing Development Board Blocks in Outram park, not far from the MRT. They were demolished in 2003. I managed to take some photographs of the last block before it was covered in tarpaulins and demolished, Level by level. They looked like packets of 'fruit tingles' at particular angles. They symbolised Singapore for me in many ways. They looked good. There was nothing left there at all. Simply grass. There is a temporary hawker centre and market there now while areas of Chinatown are upgraded.
