Singapore ~ bits and pieces

These are some strange and simply favourite photographs taken in Singapore. The first four images illustrate the civil defense and military alerts which appear on Singapore television from time to time. These alerts advise the civil defense and military personnel that they are to report to barracks.

There are also various warning signs and images of Singapore pre and post SARs. The anti war protest sign hanging outside a shop in Trngannu Street in Chinatown was a rarity. The Chinese characters on that sign read "Stop Killing People". I would like to thank Steven for the first screen shot showing the civil defense warning.
