Singapore April 15th 2005

Well, today was the last of the workshops. It was quite a day. I was teaching the participants how to create their own mp3s using Audacity and iTunes. We then took those mp3s, added a RSS script using XML and then placed the mp3s and the scripts on a web server. We then tuned into the broadcasted mp3s using the software iPodder. That software, iPodder, was quite buggy on Windoze XP. Next time I will try Doppler. There are links to all the podcasting stuff here. I forgot to take photographs of the participants!

Afterwards I went to my old haunts around Bukit Batok and my favourite eating place is gone! It has been replaced with a generic Kopitiam with all the modern food stalls! Terrible! Normally the place would be crowded but there were plenty of places to sit. The food was good however. I had prawn balls with steamed rice. The prawns are really big around here.
