My home is in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The galleries in this section feature photographs taken around the Illawarra including the amazing Nan Tien Temple. There are also photographs of other reions of Australia including Jervis Bay and Port Stephens.

The Sea at Dusk

Late Spring I took a few photographs down by the sea at North Wollongong. Surfers, waves and clouds.

Lake Illawarra

The lake was peaceful and welcoming this morning. Managed to shoot a few birds.
Lake Illawarra Sunset

Captured these late afternoon shots with a new camera.
The Southern Cross

This constellation is an easily recognised friend in the Southern Hemisphere. Know it and never get lost... at night.
Visit to Ken and Svet's place in Wombarra

Shao Ping and I drove up to beautiful Wombarra to see our friends Ken and Svet. Such a beautiful home!
The Farm, Shellharbour

The Farm is a popular surfing spot south of Wollongong, NSW. It is now part of Killalea State Recreation Park.

View from Flagstaff Hill

Took some photographs from Flagstaff Hill. Played around with shutter and aperture with varying results.

Illawarra Coastline

Shao Ping, Miki and I went for a drive to Mt Keira Lookout. Took a series of photographs of the Illawarra coastline.

North Wollongong Beach II

Shao Ping and I went for a walk down at the beach near North Wollongong. There was a nice westerly wind blowing.

Jervis Bay ~ south of the Illawarra

Shao Ping and I took a 90 minute drive to go dolphin watching at Jervis Bay and to eat lunch at Hyam's Beach.
